Ranchi: As part of the Swachhata Abhiyan (Cleanliness Drive), the Sharda Foundation organized a special felicitation ceremony to honour women sanitation workers of the Ranchi Municipal Corporation near Children’s Park, Kanke Road. The sanitation workers were presented with sarees and flowers as a token of appreciation for their selfless service and unwavering commitment to keeping the city clean.
Inspired by Hon’ble Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi’s Swachh Bharat Mission, the Foundation acknowledged the dedicated efforts of municipal sanitation workers who work tirelessly every day to maintain cleanliness and hygiene across Ranchi. Their sincerity, hard work, and dedication play a vital role in creating a healthier and cleaner environment for society.
Speaking on the occasion, the sanitation workers expressed their gratitude and stated that they dedicate every moment of their lives to serving the nation and its people. They also appealed to citizens to actively participate in maintaining cleanliness by adopting responsible civic habits and contributing towards a cleaner environment. They emphasized that the vision of a truly Clean India can only be achieved through collective public participation.
Addressing the gathering, representatives of Sharda Foundation reiterated the organization’s commitment to recognizing unsung heroes who contribute significantly to society and emphasized that every citizen has a responsibility to support the mission of a clean and healthy India.
Among those present on the occasion were Rajeev Ranjan, Ashutosh Dwivedi, Upendra Kumar from the Ranchi Municipal Corporation, along with several sanitation workers and members of the Sharda Foundation.
